VIII INBEB Symposium

Join us for the VIII Symposium of the National Institute of Science and Technology in Structural Biology and Bioimaging (INBEB)!

We invite undergraduate students, graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and the broader scientific community to participate in another edition of the INBEB Symposium, bringing together scientists to share discoveries, exchange ideas, and explore advances in structural biology, biophysics, and bioimaging.

Attendance is free of charge! However, seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Ways to Participate

1. Register as an Attendee

Join our scientific program, discover ongoing research, and connect with members of the scientific community.

All participants must register as attendees, regardless of whether they intend to submit a research video.

2. Submit Your Research

Would you like to share your research? The VIII INBEB Symposium offers an opportunity to present your scientific work through a 3-minute video presentation, communicating your research in a clear and accessible way.

Submissions are open to researchers at different stages of their academic careers:

• Undergraduate Research Students

• Master's Students

• PhD Students

• Postdoctoral Researchers

Video Submission Guidelines:

• Maximum duration of 3 minutes.

• The presentation must be in Portuguese.

• The video must be recorded in a single continuous take, without cuts, pauses, or editing.

• The presenter must remain visible throughout the presentation.

• The research must be communicated clearly and accessibly.

• A maximum of one static slide is permitted, without animations, transitions, videos, or sound effects.

• Added subtitles, background music, opening sequences, visual effects, and other post-production modifications are not permitted.

 

Important: The video link must have viewing permissions enabled. Inaccessible videos or submissions that do not comply with the guidelines will not be considered.

All researchers submitting a video must also complete the attendee registration form. Video submission alone does not count as event registration.

By submitting a video, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to comply with all submission requirements.
